Since I began to have regular
access to the Internet beginning in late 1999, I've become involved in
a few fan fiction and RPG groups and have written a few stories on my own,
but the bulk of them have been in either "round-robins" (more than one
author involved) or RPG-type (Role-Playing Games) stories involving original
characters. The fan fiction I've written and had "published" on the Internet
has been solely with the Five
Earths Project so far. Likewise, almost all the RPG stories I've
been involved with has been with some friends I "met" initially at the
DC Comics Message
Boards in early 2000, where the first MBL and TOMB stories appeared.
The MBL (originally stood
for the "Message Board League") continued after it was "kicked off" the
DC Boards at a Yahoo! Club originally called DC Message Board League which
has since been converted into a Yahoo! Group simply called Message
Board League. This group soon moved on to the now-defunct Athanon message
boards, followed quickly by TOMB (originally stood for "Timeline Orderkeepers
of the Message Boards") after it left the DC Boards voluntarily in fear
of being "kicked off," and it was at Athanon that these groups really had
its heyday. Unfortunately, Athanon was shut down in August 2001 after the
MBL and TOMB had been there well over a year. So I asked Rob Kamphausen
if we could move our "Hero Headquarters" to his board. He said sure, and
the MBL (or at least a few of the members) immediately set up shop at Rob's
Damn Board. The irony of it all was that Rob Kamphausen was the Administrator
of the DC Message Boards and thus the one responsible for kicking us off
there in the first place. Ironic, isn't it?
Anyways, shortly after arriving
there, the MBL and TOMB basically disintegrated, and we chose to begin
anew. In a fit of non-creativity, the new stories were called simply "The
New Universe" ... and it was basically more like an "Elseworlds" version of
the MBL. Rather than a straight super-hero team, the "Revolutionaries"
as they were soon known (the title of the "New Universe" had by then been
changed to a suggestion of mine: "Hero Revolution") were metahumans in
a world where metahumans were against the law and hunted. The concept soon
changed (another suggestion of mine ) to an adventurer-for-hire-type group
operating from the small fictional Caribbean island of La Perdita. What
did they end up calling themselves? MBL Consulting. Everything comes around
in circles, doesn't it?
Below you can find links
to virtually all my fan fiction and RPG stories:
MY OWN STORIES:
The following stories have all been archived at the Five Earths Project Archives. The Yahoo! Groups from which they came are also linked here. A few, but not all of them (yet), have brief descriptions of the stories found within. (P.S: The first story on the list was my first story with the 5 Earths Project, and it remains one of my favourites, sappy though it was.)

RPGs
All existing MBL and TOMB
stories have been archived in the Files sections of the following Yahoo!
Groups. You must be a member in order to read them, but that's not just a ploy to get you to join... honest! (Warning: All three
groups are completely defunct and are only being used to store the story
files now. To join in the storytelling, just go to Hero
Headquarters at Rob's
Damn Board. We'd love to have some more writers -- especially some
females -- to get involved in our stories.)
Well, that's about it. Hopefully
this list will grow longer as I complete several stories I started and
write new ones. And I hope to have the MBL and TOMB stories archived in
an easy-to-read format somewhere at some point in the future (but don't
hold your breath until then).
